As one of the hottest performers on the planet, Madonna has tons of haters. But who would have guessed that one of them would be her own kin?
UK's Daily Mail reported Madonna's brother, Anthony Ciccone, is homeless and living under a bridge in Traverse City, Michigan.
Ciccone has had no contact with his famous sister or any other family members and said, "If I froze to death, my family probably wouldn’t know or care about it for six months."
Radar Online reported Ciccone however did admit that his sister paid for his rehab six years ago, adding he's had a drinking and drug problem for more than 20 years.
"My family seems to think rehab is some kind of magic panacea for life's ills," he said.
Ciccone said the last time he saw his sister was three years ago, when she was in Detroit for a hometown celebration, but the two never spoke.
‘I’m proud of my sister, but it’s been a burden, because I can’t be me; I have to be related to a celebrity," he said, adding Madonna has earned and deserves her fame.
"But you’d think there’d be some more family loyalty, and that’s not the case."
And apparently sibling rivalry runs deep in the Ciccone family.
"She was a b*tch, just like she is now. She remains true to form," Ciccone said.
Madonna's party has yet to comment on the situation.
