Okay...
I have been running 1.6.10 for a while now. Tried updating to 1.7.15, 1.7.29 and now 1.8.12, but every time I get nothing but FC after FC. Can't keep ANY app running, even the ROMs settings FCs. MIUI has been my ROM of choice for a long time now, but I'm about ready to abandon it.....
And before anyone asks....YES - I did a COMPLETE wipe before flashing the updated ROM.
NO - I did not restore any app from a back-up (which is ridiculous), but used the MIUI File Manager to re-install them from the SD card. Did restore system data...using the MIUI Back Up app. If that isn't safe, then MIUI designers need to fix it!
YES...I have the VM Heap tool, set at 64 (which should be plenty)
Any other thoughts? Seriously, will either go back to 6.10 and stay there (not ideal) or abandon MIUI altogether. This is getting crazy. Thank You!
PS..Anyone else HATE the new widget editor? Bad enough that MIUI doesn't lump all the different size options together for a widget and lists each one separately. Now you can only see them on one single-file scroll line...can't even use the page identifier to leap ahead, like older versions. Lots to love in the new interface...this isn't one of them.
