just a heads up as I have just taken the plunge and rooted my HTC Desire using unRevoked 3, then installed this fantastic ROM called MIUI.
Its is worth doing and can`t stress enough how much better it is compared to any other custom ROM I`ve seen, its still only a beta release but MIUI has really got myself and others hooked, it seems to be going down a storm. About 6 of us at work are now running MIUI ROM.
