: the curb outside Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n' Waffles, just north of Sunset Blvd, where (on Memorial Day evening, Monday, May 28, 2007) actor Cuba Gooding Jr. ("Jerry Maguire") was sitting in his car outside the restaurant waiting to pick up dinner for his family, when he heard gunshots. He saw a young man stumbling towards him who had been wounded in the attack. The young man was bleeding from the neck and collapsed. Cuba called for towels to stem the victim's bleeding, and cradeled him until Cuba was able to flag down a passing police car. Then he stayed at the scene until an ambulance arrived. (Way to go, Cuba!)
