Madden NFL 12 officially kicks off Tuesday, August 30, but there's some Madden madness already in motion.
Those who purchase EA Sports Season Ticket ($24.99 for one year) on Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network can get access to Madden NFL 12 early -- access opened Saturday. That purchase price also gains sports gamers early access to NHL 12 (Sept. 9), FIFA Soccer (Sept. 23) and next year's editions of Tiger Woods PGA Tour and NCAA Football . (All experience carries over into the final version of the game.)
Also tonight NBC airs the Madden NFL 12 Pigskin Pro-Am at 7 p.m. ET before the preseason game at 8 p.m. ET between the Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints. The event will be replayed on Versus on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. ET and Wedneday, Sept. 7 at 10 p.m. ET.
