WGN-TV and the Chicago Weather Center no longer use radar maps from Weather Underground. Instead, we have a selection of maps available that offer different levels of detail.
• Low-res/animated radar: This map is the closest of the three to that provided by Weather Underground. It includes various zoom levels and animation options. Click here for map >>
• Interactive high-res map: This map may take a few seconds to load because it includes a lot of data. It allows you to zoom down to neighborhood and even street-level. Click here for map >> |Learn more about using this map >>
• WGN-TV radar: These maps, which are used on WGN-TV, give you a quick overview of conditions locally, regionally, and nationally. They load fast, even on slower computers.
