Are you looking for a used vehicle to cruise the streets in a sunny weekend day? You just found one! Named the De Dion Trycicle, the vehicle is actually the oldest running car and it isn’t exactly cheap. In fact you can call the iconic McLaren F1 cheap compared to this one.
Over 1.6 million British pounds will have to pay its new owner before he or she will be able to take it home and speeding won’t be a worry in this vehicle because it can do only 38 mph or 61 km/h and besides this, the owner will never have to go to a gas station again because it’s steam-powered.
Even if you won’t have to put it against supercars like the Ferrari 458 Italia, the De Dion Trycicle is pretty exclusive because only 20 units were ever made out of which only six are still alive today.
Made in 1884, the 127 year old vehicle also holds some medals like the one from the 1997 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and it was actually built several years before Henry Ford made his first car.
You will need not less than 45 minutes until you could start it and it goes on paper, wood and charcoal, so don’t worry about car thieves.
