HAMMOND | An Elvis Presley tribute, a Christmas concert and an all-alumni variety show are among the featured performances in Nollapalooza.
The 2011-12 music festival and concert series benefits the renovation of the Bishop Noll Institute auditorium.
Tickets are on sale for the Oct. 22 series kickoff show, featuring former Hammond recording artist Travis James as Elvis.
He is a regular performer at the Memories Theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
Tickets for the James concert are $30, and all seats are reserved. A post-show reception, for adults only at $10, will give concertgoers a chance to meet James.
Also appearing Oct. 22 will be Chicago-based oldies performer Tony Bernard and vocalist Holly James.
Tickets for the Travis James Elvis Tribute and subsequent Nollapalooza shows are on sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on schooldays at the school's main office, 1519 Hoffman St., Hammond.

Following is a list of the subsequent Nollapalooza shows:
• "Wait Until Dark": 7 p.m. Nov. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19. Tickets are $10. BNI's student theater-in-the-round performances are Friday and Saturday nights on three successive weekends.
• "Celebrate Christ": 2 p.m. Dec. 11. Tickets are $25. Musicians from throughout the region, including members of various church choirs and the BNI community, celebrate the Christmas story in song.
• "The Wizard of Oz": 7 p.m. March 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31. Tickets are $10. The show is this year's choice for the annual spring musical, performed by Bishop Noll students.
• "All-Alumni Revue": 7 p.m. May 5. Tickets are $40. BNI alumni, from recent years and decades past, return to the stage in a two-hour variety show. A reception follows.
