Is it true that Kate Gosselin only washes her eight children's bed sheets every two weeks? Is that practice even sanitary? Everyone knows kids are giants conduits between home and the germs they come into contact with in school. Shouldn't their sheets be changed more frequently?
According to Hollywood Life, Kate revealed her less-than-stellar laundry habits in her blog on her new website KatePlusMy8.com. Here's her post,
"I wash bedsheets every other week, but blankets are only washed at the end of each season... That is unless sickness hits them first and typically that happens at least once maybe twice a year! "
Would you take advice of any kind from Kate Gosselin? Would you take laundry advice from the former Kate Plus Eight star after learning she only changes her kids' beds every other week?
Kate Gosselin isn't working now, so it would stand to reason she has more time than ever available to spend at home. Perhaps she should consider upping the frequency with which she changes the beds in her home for her own health as well as that of her eight children.
Anyone with kids knows that moms get sick after all the kids have gotten sick. It's an unwritten rule of thumb. Most moms, however, do whatever they can to ward off germs before their kids get sick, and that includes changing the sheets on all beds once per week.
Do you find it a bit disgusting that Kate Gosselin only changes the sheets on her kids' beds every other week? How frequently do you change the bed sheets in your home?
