Last season on “Sweet Home Alabama”, Devin Grissom had to choose between 11 country boys and 11 city boys. She ended up falling for a country boy, Adam Moyer. Tribble Reese, runner-up on the first season, finally has his chance at love.
On the first episode of season two, Tribble met all 11 country girls and all 11 city girls. He was reunited with college classmate, Paige Duke, but at the end of the night he had to eliminate two women. Stefanie Williams, a blogger/writer from New York City, and Nicole Ross, a professional cowgirl/ veterinary technician from Denton, Texas, were the unlucky women. Tribble was smart to send these two women home because Stefanie had a history of dating athletes; Tribble was a former quarterback for Clemson University. Nicole was so into her rodeo lifestyle and Tribble wasn’t sure if she would have any time for him.
On the second episode of “Sweet Home Alabama,” Tribble took the women to an alligator farm. During this group date, Tribble pulled one country girl aside, and had a private mini-date. The lucky lady was Tristan Smith, a nursing student from Robertsdale, Alabama. Tribble and Tristan looked adorable together. They had a definite connection and they seem perfect for each other.
After the group date, all twenty women cooked a thanksgiving dinner together; more or less it was the country girls versus the city girls. Two of the country girls, Mandy Sanders and Paige Duke, got up early to go hunting. They brought back a buck for their dinner. Tribble was absolutely impressed when he saw what the two women had done.
Erin Stack, an actress/model from Hollywood, California, was completely against this. She is a strict vegan and many of the girls in the house are annoyed by her. Erin whines about everything, and there is no way that a vegan from Hollywood is right for a southern gentleman like Tribble.
At the end of the dinner, Tribble asked Jacqueline Honulik to go on a private date with him. They went to a gazebo on a lake and sat by a fireplace to talk. Jacqueline works for the New York Yankees in the guest relations. She told everyone that she is twenty-five, but she looks older than that, and everything about her seems completely fake. What was Tribble thinking?
At the end of the day, four women had to go home. The unfortunate women were Chiara Strzesiewski, a city girl, Cassie Cardelle, a city girl, Colleen Aldrich, a city girl, and Jessica Newsom, a country girl. All four women needed to go home. Chiara was a dancer/model from New York City who had no business being there. Cassie was a pop singer from Hollywood who was probably there for publicity. Colleen was a tanning salon manager from Long Island, New York. Jessica was hilarious. She was obnoxiously country, and Tribble even told her that she was a “Texas firecracker,” but she was just too much for Tribble to handle.
This season seems very promising and exciting; one of the girls in the house, Hailey Glassman, was part of the Jon and Kate Gosselin scandal. It’s sure to be extremely fun and there will be tons of drama between the country girls and the city girls under one roof. Tribble will end up picking between two country girls. The city girls are definitely wrong for Tribble, but there are numerous country girls that Tribble could have a future with.
