Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer (notes) hasn't retired yet even though he threatened this last offseason that he would if the Bengals didn't trade him.
There was a brief window of time Tuesday when it appeared that Palmer may have been moving somewhere else, but it turns out, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer, that the rumors are false .
His supposed destination? The 0-3 Miami Dolphins . A "high-ranking club official" with the Bengals said there's "zero truth" to the rumor, the Enquirer notes, which had the Dolphins sending "a conditional third-round pick that could turn into a second if certain goals are reached."
The Bengals are still holding out for a higher return on Palmer than that.
