on Sunday night.
"I'm fine," said Burress, who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of a balky lower back. He is officially listed as probable on the injury report.
Burress' back became a concern leading up to the Jets' victory in Buffalo last Sunday. He said he almost didn't play.
The 34-year-old veteran leads the team with five touchdowns. He has also has 23 receptions for 322 yards.

His presence -- especially in the red zone -- will be an important one, as the Jets look to exploit New England's 32nd-ranked pass defense.
Safety Brodney Pool is questionable with a sprained knee. He didn't practice Friday, and it appears as though he may not be ready in time for Sunday night's game. Pool plays a lot on passing downs.
"I feel good. I had a full day of practice," McKnight said Friday.
McKnight, who is listed as probable, leads the NFL with a 40.2-yard per kick return average. He doesn't expect the injury to affect him going forward.
"It's Patriot week. We need this win to be No. 1, so I just want to go out there and give it my all," McKnight said.
Both teams (5-3) come in tied for the division lead with the Bills.
Defensive end Mike DeVito , who missed the team's win over the Buffalo with a knee sprain, said he feels "100 percent" and will play.
"After two days of treatment Monday and Tuesday, I felt really good coming in Wednesday for practice," said DeVito, one of the team's best run stuffers.
Right tackle Wayne Hunter (finger) is probable. Hunter said he dislocated a finger on his left hand during the team's victory over the San Diego Chargers three weeks ago. He has been wearing a splint ever since. He says it's not a concern and thinks it'll be fine.
