Jon and Kate Gosselin will be sharing their eight little Gosselins over the Labor Day Weekend. Kate tweeted earlier on Saturday that the kids would spend part of the weekend at home with her and part of it with their dad.
"GM all!" Kate tweeted. "Splitting the holiday weekend so kids here 1/2 then not here the other 1/2! Have a great weekend! Just hanging arnd house 2day here.."
Given the close proximity of Jon and Kate's homes to one another, this is really an ideal way for their children to get to spend long holiday weekend. It actually affords them the best of both worlds, plus Mom and Dad get to enjoy part of their own holiday weekend doing whatever they might like to do as well.
Kate Gosselin will more than likely go out for one of her lengthy several miles-long runs she is becoming so famous for. Despite what one might think of Kate, she's got to be admired for the perseverance she has displayed in becoming an avid runner.
Who knows what Jon Gosselin might do when the kids go back to Kate's, but since he has voiced his love of the "normal life" he's living, maybe he'll do some things around the house or take fiancée Ellen Ross out for a quiet evening.
Kate Gosselin is rather meticulous about how she keeps her house, so perhaps she'll spend part of the time the kids are with Jon organizing. She seems to like things perfectly organized--which has got to be nearly impossible to achieve living in a house with eight children!
Hopefully all of the Gosselin children enjoy the long weekend split between their mom's and their dad's homes. While a bit unsettling, they at least have good relationships with both parents, and know unequivocally that they are well-loved.
It seems Jon and Kate Gosselin did something right where that's concerned!
