TLC may have given Kate Gosselin and her brood the boot, but they're still gaga over the multi-kid Duggar family, which just seems to grow. This fifth season will include stories about the original family as well as son Josh and his new kids (Josh thankfully broke from the "J"-naming tradition and calls one of his kids, Michael). As if that weren't enough chaos, the whole family is traveling abroad. For those of you doing the math, well, let's just say that's a whole lot of plane tickets. 9 p.m. TLC
These behind-the-scenes documentaries on hospital life have proven popular in the United States. This one spends time in the emergency room of a very busy London hospital. Filmmakers spent 28 days in the ER, chronicling the life-and-death occurrences with 70 remote cameras. (Cool!) They also follow the patients after they're treated. 9 p.m. BBC America
What did you think of the news shows that have debuted? So far on Tuesdays, I'm enjoying the cliffhangers that "Ringer" provides each episode. Sarah Michelle Gellar is doing a deft job of handling two distinct personalities, though her Bridget seems more complex than her steely Siobhan. All in all, it's nice and soapy television. 9 p.m. CW
As for "New Girl," which scored very high ratings last week, I'm looking forward to see how the show develops. Many of the funniest moments of the premiere already had been seen in commercials. This week, Damon Wayans Jr. is out as Coach (He is sticking with his original gig on ABC's "Happy Endings") and Lamorne Morris is introduced as Winston. If they can keep Zooey Deschanel's Jess in line, this could be amusing on a regular basis. 9 p.m. Fox
