WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man who admitted selling fake purses at "The Purse Barn" in West Seneca will be spending a year confined in his home.
Marvin Hardy, Jr., 36, of Buffalo was sentenced on Thursday to time served and one year home incarceration with electronic monitoring. Hardy pleaded guilty to trafficking in counterfeit goods and access device fraud in June. On top of selling fake Versace, Burberry, Kate Spade, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Coach, Balenciaga and Coco Chanel purses, Hardy stole the credit card information from four prior customers and charged them $2,900 for transactions that never occurred.
Hardy was ordered to pay almost $20,000 in restitution.
