The MLB playoffs 2011 schedule continues tonight with the Detroit Tigers vs. NY Yankees for Game 5 of their ALDS. The final game takes place in New York and will be seen on television as well as live streaming online all around the country!
The MLB live stream gets started at 8PM EST with TV coverage on TBS. Fans who have ordered a post-season subscription package through Major League Baseball can watch with different features. These include multiple camera angles, live streaming tweets about the game, and other options online. It's noted that the live streaming video coverage is an additional way to watch the game with the televised version.
The live streaming games have been going on throughout the ALDS and NLDS. They've allowed fans to see the Rangers take out the Tampa Bay Rays, and all three other series go the distance. That includes the Tigers vs. Yankees in the American League, which features two of the best teams in the league this past season.
Tonight's matchup features a young ace in Ivan Nova for the Yankees facing the more experienced Doug Fister for the Tigers. Whoever wins tonight gets the Texas Rangers in the AL Championship series, and a chance to get to the MLB World Series for 2011. Only one team can prevail, and fans will be able to enjoy it all on television or online!
