Reality show star. So many people, including Kate Gosselin, have earned the moniker. It's essentially the dream job. Let a camera crew follow you around for a couple of months out of the year and get paid millions of dollars? That allure has many people asking, "where do I sign up?"
Of course, no one takes the time to consider the aftermath of being a reality star. What happens when the lights go dim and the cameras disappear?
This is something that many former reality stars face. Evan Marriott ( Joe Millionaire ) reportedly went through a depression after his reality show. Heidi and Spencer from The Hills are reportedly bankrupt.
Now, Kate Gosselin, whose reality show, Kate Plus 8 , was recently cancelled, is facing real life again. What will she do?
A friend close to Gosselin has reportedly told Life and Style , "She just completed more courses to renew her license." Though another friend reportedly doubts that Gosselin would go back to nursing.
Of course, this isn't a surprise. Kate Gosselin admitted on her Twitter that she renewed her license, but not because she was considering going back. Instead she said she will never let her license expire.
So, what will she do? Many reality stars that are in the same position find themselves having to go back to their regular 9-5 jobs. Kate has eight kids to support and put through private school. It's also no secret that Kate likes to eat organic, and that isn't cheap!
Will Kate end up like other reality show stars? She is a strong woman with a lot of determination and is sure to excel in whatever she does!
