IT’S FAIRLY well documented that I can’t stand Madonna.

I had the displeasure of interviewing her a few years back, where she was very unpleasant to the point of making me cry.

Last week a guy dared to give her a bunch of flowers at a press conference. To be fair, she did say thank you, but then followed it up with an aside of, “I absolutely loathe hydrangeas…..he obviously doesn’t know that”.

No, he obviously didn’t, and why should he? (Unless he feels like me and was actually being very clever!)

She followed the press coverage of her slight with a “hilarious” video apology to the flowers. All silent movie-esque, lovingly caressing some of the offending blooms, until, wait, she still hates them – and the spoof ends with the “punchline” – “It’s a free country, so f**k you I like roses”. Hahahahahahem. #comedyfail Madonna.
